Driving along in White Sands can be a bit odd. For starters, there is often nothing around. When I say, "Nothing," I mean like NOTHING. Nothing for miles and miles. I believe White Sands is about the same size as the state of Rhode Island (no kidding.) If that weren't enough, driving on the surface of the sand is a bit strange. It does strange things to your tires and makes the car feel like it's sliding more. Driving across White Sands is eventful, that's for sure, even if nobody is around to catch you doing it. This is Road No. 1 from White Sands.
